When we were very young

This layout was for the weekly challenge on UKS - to use a book title, use earth tones, water photo and secret journalling. I've used a photo of Catherine and Sarah in 1983 at Hurst Castle, which was built as part of Henry8's coastal defences. The title is from the book by AA Milne. The photo is hinged on the LHS so journalling can be hidden underneath. The paper is from the My Mind's Eye Laundry Line range.
I've also combined this with the SLYMI Wk 14 challenge- to scrap something hidden.

Snow Day

This was done for the Scrap Like You Mean It challenge on UKS - to use the sketch. I've used papers by Heidi Swapp, Kaiser gems and lots of Stickles.
Photo is of the path at the back of my house in February on the first of the two snowy day s we had.

Here Comes the Bride LHS

I started this one last year as a class at Scrapper's Paradise but never finished it off. The original class LO had a very large 3 lettered title which I didn't think appropriate for this photo so I was a bit stuck on how to dfinish it off. I decided that it didn't actually need a title as it's going in the wedding album and so I've just added the orange strip, and cut out some circles and some timy butterflies from a 6x6" pad of the same papers that I already have. I've added a felt flower too. Papers are from the Basic Grey Ambrosia collection.

Little Angel

This was done for the Scrap Like You Mean It challenge to use fabric. I've used scraps of silk, damask and cotton. I made a rosette out of sparkly ribbon and backed it with tulle and feathers, Photo is of my gorgeous grandaughter Sophie last year all dressedup for Harry's 3rd birthday.

Babes in the Wood

I've been doing this layout for several weeks. It involved a lot of cutting out and I find that difficult to do, so only did a little bit at a time. Papers are by Black Market Paper Society and printed the title onto Safmat.

I'm just wild about Harry.

A layout for the weekly challenge on UKS. Use a song title, something you're addicted to, use blue, and use a flower. Patterned paper is by American Craft. Cut title and flowers using the Cuttlebug.

Daughter

I did this one at my crop yesterday for the weekly challenge and for the Scrap Like You Mean It challenge on UKS. The weekly challenge had to include a layout in black and white or rainbow colours (paper includes all the colours of the rainbow), to celebrate womanhood (my youngest, Sarah, looking lovely) distressing (sanded around edge of photo) and 5 of something (5 cut-out flowers with brads). The SLYMI challenge was to use punches (circle and scallop punches used).

The journalling reads "All the things I prayed you'd be are all the things you are."
The paper is some old Basic Grey Colour Me Silly.
