Baby Driver

I've been out at a crop all day today and just finished this one of at home. It's for Shimelle's Scrap Like You Mean It challenge on UKS this week which is to cut up one of your photos. I was going to give this challenge a miss as I didn't like the idea of chopping up photos, but I actually like the result and might try it again sometime. Photos are of Sophie playing in her garden last summer. I've used paper and letters by K&Co Rough and Tumble. I made the flower by gathering up a length of ribbon along one edge and pulling it tight, Added lots of buttons and a bit of stitching.

Party Fun

Thsi is Catherine with Harry on his 2nd birthday. Papers are Blue Awning by K&Co.

The Artist

This is Harry with his first ever drawing of himself, complete with head, body, arms and legs., drawn at the age of 3 years 3 months. I've used paper, journalling block, chipboard stars and stip from My Mind's Eye Laundry Line collection. The letters were cut in felt using my Cuttlebug. All the buttons are old ones out of my button box. The layout is a scraplift from one of Missy Neal's in Scrapbook Magazine.

Did this one for the weekly team challenge on UKS.

Harry's Tree

Sarah and Harry came to help me erect my Christmas tree. We didn't get the decorations out of the attic, so Harry decided to decorate it with his plastic dinosaurs and other animals. I kept it like this for a week, then changed it for more traditional decorations. However, when I came to put the tree away, T-Rex fell out!

Used pp by Imaginisce and K&Co Rough and Tumble alphas.

Cybercrop weekend

I've had a very busy cropping weekend, what with the UKS cybercrop and my all-day crop at Nicki's yesterday. I am a very slow scrapper, so I only managed 4 layouts before the deadlines. These are the cybercrop layouts. I'll upload the others tomorrow when I've photographed them.

Shop Signs

This was a challenge to do a symmetrical layout, with 4 of everything. I used BG Two Scoops paper (with a symmetrical pattern) and Prima flowers.
The photos are of hanging shop signs in Winchester, and this will be eventually be a double layout as I have some more photos and some journalling to do. For my album about Winchester.

Little Witch

This was a ribbon class. I only had an hour to do this one before the deadline so it's a bit plain for me. Think it needs some stitiching around the edge. The paper is from Me and My Big Ideas. Photo is of Sophie last November in the little hallowe'en witch's dress I bought for her.

Simply Sophie

This was a challenge to use lace somewhere. I only had this sticky lace so I just added a border at the top and bottom. The buttons were from the Early Learning Centre and just seemed to be the right colours to match Sophie's clothes, and the flowers were drawn on acetate with Sharpies and cut out. A bit of a hodge-podge of styles really.

Delight in Everything.

This was a class by Artbase using a pre-cut chipboard frame. I didn't send away for any kits, so I cut my own frame out of card. Took me for ever to get the apertures to balance properly for my photos. I used BG Two Scoops paper and buttons and Prima flowers to finish it off.

Watch out! I'm 3.

This layout was done for the weekly challenge on UKS. Use sketch, use black and white, use stamping and use flowers. I turned the sketch on it's side to accommodate my photosThe paper is by Tinkering Ink and the felt die-cut strip is by Prima.
I thought I'd better scrap these photos of Harry as they are of his 3rd birthday party last year, and he's now nearly 4.
